Invitation FAQs
-
Our turn around times vary depending on the type of invitation you are after and the quantity you order. As a rough estimate, most orders are completed within 3 to 4 weeks. This time frame accounts for the design process and consultation, printing, packing and shipping. We do offer a priority service if you require your invitations in a shorter time frame.
-
At first instance, we will provide you with a form to complete all of your wedding details. Once we receive that form we will design the invitation in accordance with your instructions and provide you with a digital proof. You can make as many revisions as you like. Once you are happy with the proof, we will begin printing.
-
Yes, we do! Our consultations are done via phone call. During the consultation, we explain the design and print process to you and answer any questions that you may have. We also talk you through the different options that we have available to assist you in narrowing down your design options.
-
We offer sample packages of pre-designed wedding invitations. These sample packages are tailored to the invitation style and colour scheme you are after. Please note that we do not offer samples for invitations with hot foiling, letterpress or embossing due to the costs and resources involved in these processes.
-
Yes, you can! We offer printing, embossing and hot foiling for both envelopes and invitation pockets.
-
As most of your invitations will be sent to families, you will require only one invitation per household. You will need two invitations for your photographers - one that will be kept at the bride’s house and the other at the groom’s house. These invitations can later be used as keepsakes to cherish your special day! Finally, we recommend ordering an extra 10-15 invitations for last minute guests. It can be costly to re-order invitations at the very last minute, so it is always better to order some extras from the outset!
-
Ideally wedding invitations should be sent to your guests 8-10 weeks before your event. This allows sufficient time for your guests to RSVP and guest numbers to be finalised with your wedding venue. If you are having a destination wedding, we recommend mailing your invites 5+ months in advance to give your guests enough time to book accommodation and make arrangements for your wedding.

If you prefer to keep your main invitation minimal, a details card is a great way to provide your guests with additional information on things like gifts, accommodation, children, parking and any other logistical information about your wedding day. You can also choose to incorporate your RSVP into your details card to minimise the cost of your invitation suite.
